Established in 1998, Heart for Children Inc. is a 501c3 organization located in the Eastside Urban Core of Jacksonville, Florida.

24 YEARS AND COUNTING

For nearly 24 years, Heart for Children Inc. has provided underprivileged and at-risk youth ages 5 to 17, the opportunity to be in a safe and nurturing environment during the school year and summer. Founded by Joyce Brinson, HFC is well known throughout the community as a family-oriented organization that teaches the importance of education and team building. One of HFC's many goals are for the children to grow into productive adults that will one day positively give back to their communities. As of 2022, HFC has newly embarked in health initiative programming to increase community engagement in health and wellness. Our goal is to provide access to fitness classes, cultivate a sustainable fresh vegetable garden, and provide mental and emotional health support groups.
